• Mussel powders contain proteins, which can cause allergic reactions in some people. Since Pernol is an oil all the proteins have been removed
• Mussel powders contain sea salt, which can be a problem for people needing to stay on a low salt diet. Pernol contains no sea salts
• Because Pernol is a potent concentrate, the dose rate is far lower and the capsules are easier to take. The unpleasant odours associated with encapsulated mussel powders have been removed.
How long will it take to start feeling the benefits of Pernol?
As Pernol is a natural product, rather than a prescription medicine, different people take varying amounts of time before they start to see tangible results. In reality this means that some people experience good results in just 2-3 weeks; whereas it can take others a little longer who have a more acute or severe condition. How is Pernol different to cod liver oil?

Relief at last! I have tried just about every remedy available on the market and have had minimal relief from the excruciating pain I have been experiencing in my lower back, hips and knees. The pain was such that I found myself walking less and less and I had lost the confidence to venture anywhere on my own for fear that my knees and hips wouldn’t hold me up. The doctors have on numerous occasions suggested that I should have knee and hip replacement operations, but I was not convinced that this was the route to take. Since I was a young man, I have been an avid biker, however in the last five years or so I have been using my motorbike less and less as I’m not as agile as I used to be and had great difficulty in getting onto the bike due to my hips tightening up. Once on the bike, I would be able to ride around for 20 minutes at the most due to the pain I would experience in my hips. I haven’t been diagnosed as having arthritis, but just presumed that at the age of 68 it was arthritis that was tightening up my hip joints. I don’t know how I actually got through each day before I started taking Pernol. I can remember waking up every morning and having to get out of bed very slowly as my knees were so sore. It took a while to get mobile and the pain was unbearable.
